These are color photographs that I have taken of torn billboards during my world travels. I then used a pointillist technique in painting these photographs. I am intrigued by the trompe l'oeil created by elements of abstraction coupled with realism in these works on paper and canvas.

While I remain somewhat faithful to the natural collage that is captured by the photograph, I will occasionally paste down other elements to enhance the composition. My main addition to these collages is a detailed texturization applied with small dots of acrylic paint.
